Atto 590 is a rhodamine dye with strong absorption, high fluorescence quantum yield, and excellent thermal and photo-stability. It is ideal for single-molecule detection, flow cytometry (FACS), and fluorescence in-situ hybridization (FISH). Moderately hydrophilic, it is best excited between 575-610 nm, and it is usually coupled to DNA and RNA oligonucleotides.
