pdC

pdC (Figure 1) stands for C-5 Propynyl-Desoxycytidin, a deoxynucleotide that can be inserted in oligonucleotides to increase their Tm. When inserted in an oligonucleotide, pdC raises the oligo Tm of 2.8 °C per pdC residue added. It is particularly useful in combination with ZNA®. To learn more, jump to our ZNA® portfolio.
