2'-Deoxyuridine

2’-Deoxyuridine can be incorporated in DNA oligonucleotides as an analog of dT. This base can be removed by treatment with uracil-N-deglycosylase (UNG), which is normally used to digest amplified DNA and eliminate DNA-RNA cross-contamination.

2’-Deoxyuridine modified oligos can be used to study adaptive and innate immunity in animals.
