pdU
pdU stands for C-5 Propynyl-Desoxyuridin, a deoxynucleotide that can be inserted in oligonucleotides to increase their Tm. When inserted in an oligonucleotide, pdU increases the oligo Tm of 1.7°C per pdU residue added. It is particularly useful in combination with ZNA®. To learn more, jump to our ZNA® portfolio.
